Railway Platform Gauge
The railway platform gauge is a special measuring tool used to measure the distance between the gauge side of the track close to the platform and the side of the platform, as well as the height between the top of the rail track and the platform surface.

Instructions for Use
Open the vertical ruler to make it vertical and tighten the vertical positioning screw.
Place the insulating blocks on the top of the rail and ensure the measuring head is tightly fitted against the gauge side of the rail.
Open the platform positioning rod on the vertical scale, making sure it securely adheres to the positioning rod fixed magnet.
Loosen the sliding frame locking screw on the vertical scale, and pull the horizontal scale to make the left side of the sliding frame on the vertical scale align with the edge of the platform.
Make the platform positioning rod fit against the upper surface of the platform, slide the sliding frame on the vertical scale until the bubble level is centered, and then tighten the sliding frame locking screw.
The red line on the horizontal scale’s magnifying glass aligns with the scale that indicates the distance from the gauge side of the rail adjacent to the platform to the edge of the platform; the red line on the vertical scale’s magnifying glass aligns with the scale indicating the height from the top of the rail to the upper surface of the platform.
After measurement, fold the platform positioning rod into the positioning rod seat and loosen the vertical positioning screw to fold the vertical scale.
